About Me
I first started taking photos in 2022 when I was given a roll of black and white film, and I rummaged until I found my old camera gathering dust in a drawer. I quickly became obsessed with the entire analogue process—from that first click of the shutter to the magic of watching an image emerge in my makeshift darkroom at home.
Working professionally as a 3D artist at a visual effects studio in London, I'm surrounded by screens and computers all day. Film photography gives me a break from all that: the unpredictability and honest grain of film, the tactile craft of developing and printing. There's something profoundly human about black and white film that makes everything feel more real, more present.
I'm drawn to street photography and documentary work, capturing fragments of life as they unfold. Having a camera on me often becomes my bridge to the world when I’m struggling with social anxiety—a way to engage when I might otherwise feel disconnected. I don't always recognize the threads connecting my images until later, but I'm inspired by photographers like Bert Hardy, Elliott Erwitt, Bruce Davidson, and William Klein, who understood that every frame can tell a story.
